  Sweden - Full Trisomy 13

Trisomy 13, Full Trisomy 13, living with Trisomy 13 child
Hello. My name is Madelene Håkansson and I live in Sweden. In June 26 2008 I welcomed my second son, Love. When he was 8 days we found out that he has full trisomy 13.

Love is not a very good sleeper but he is a good eater! When he was 7 months he got a "button" in his stomach. But we never use it because now he eats all his food in his mouth. He throws up a lot (reflux) but the weight is ok (soon 8 kg) so I guess he keeps what he needs...

When Love was 6 months he had his first attack of cramp where he stopped breathing. The following weeks he had many many more but now, with medications they only come once or twice a week and only last a short time.

Now, we are looking forward to have a huge birthday party!
